Designed & printed in Scotland in small batches. We use a method called sublimation which fuses the design to the material. This makes the print super hard wearing so it’ll last beautifully and withstand cleaning and spills.
Material:
Ceramic with cork backing.
Dimensions:
10.8cm W x 10.8cm L x 0.6cm D
-
Wipe-clean only. Avoid getting the cork side wet.
As with any ceramic product, they are fragile and may chip or break if dropped - be aware of coasters sticking to cups and mugs as you lift them.

Mountain hare - Mountain hares are masters of disguise and completely change colour from summer to winter. In the summer, their coat is grey-black, camouflaging seamlessly with the heather moorland. In the winter, they turn almost completely white, so they can blend in with the winter snow. Mountain hares are native to the Scottish Highlands and the easiest time to spot them is in the spring, when their coats are still white but the snow has melted.
Red deer - Red deer are iconic and their image is almost synonymous with Scotland. They are Scotland’s biggest deer, weighing up to 15kg! Red deer are rather common in Scotland and you can spot them year-round in moorland, mountainsides, as well as grasslands near woodland.
Barn owl - Barn owls are incredible hunters, able to use sound to track their prey. Their heart-shaped faces help them with this, as the shape helps direct high-frequency sounds. They are widespread among the Scottish countryside.
Golden Eagle - Golden eagles are mighty birds of prey. They are the top predator in the Scottish countryside and there’s not much they won’t hunt! If you’re lucky enough, you might catch a glimpse of one of these magnificent creatures in the mountains or moorlands of Scotland.
Otter - On top of being exceedingly cute, otters are actually one of Scotland’s top predators. They’re built perfectly for the water, with dense fur for warmth and ears and noses that they can actually close while underwater! Otters are tricky to spot, but you might see them in some Scottish Wildlife Trust reserves.
Scottish Wildcat - Wildcats are the only wild member of the cat family native to the UK! They look a bit like a regular tabby cat, but they’re chunkier and have specific markings that separate them from domestic cats. They’re very tricky to spot however, as they’re endangered, rare and very shy! They live in some of the wildest, most remote parts of Scotland.
